An earthy container for stories, inhabited by small wooden totems and rich, rust-colored textures that evoke a primal shelter.
The walls of this suite are inhabited by Duarte’s signature creations: small, doll-like wooden figures. Resting in recessed niches, these tiny totems act as silent guardians of the space.
They are set against a backdrop of rich, rust-colored textures that evoke the passage of time and the weathering of iron and earth.
Duarte transforms the bedroom into a warm, grounding sanctuary. The massive headboard wall is treated with a burnished, copper-like patina that glows in the natural light.
The artistic narrative flows seamlessly into the bathroom and living areas. Rough-hewn stone sinks and dark wood accents complement the suite’s earthy theme.
Every surface invites touch, blurring the line between a functional living space and a tactile art installation. It is a design that feels rooted in the landscape.
A container for stories. The walls carry the texture of the earth, and the small figures are like ancestors watching over the dreamer. It is a place designed to help the guest reconnect with the essential and the primitive.
