At Estancia Vik, Wellbeing begins outdoors
Movement comes through riding, walking, swimming and time spent outdoors. Restoration comes through open space, quiet and the pace of country life: fresh air, open views, the sky, fire, silence, nature and food that reflects the place.
Guests can also explore the wider Vik José Ignacio wellbeing offering throughout their stay.
Created by Carrie and Alex Vik with Uruguayan architect Marcelo Daglio and 28 local artists, Estancia Vik is a contemporary interpretation of the traditional Spanish-style estancia, where courtyards, gardens and covered walkways connect the house to the landscape.
Art is integral to the architecture. Throughout the estancia, major works shape the spaces they inhabit: Pablo Atchugarry’s monumental marble sculpture; Clever Lara’s Great Room fresco and frieze; Carlos Musso’s adobe chapel; and Marcelo Legrand’s vibrant intervention at El Asador.
The same spirit continues through the twelve suites, each conceived around a different artist.
Here, art is something you live with.
