Cardozo Suite
A study in texture and time. Cardozo scrapes and carves the walls to create a dialogue between rustic decay and refined modern design.
The Architecture of Time. In this suite, the walls are the canvas. Cardozo treats the plaster as a geological layer, scraping and carving it to create a “Constructed Ruin” aesthetic.
Cardozo constructs a dialogue between the rustic and the refined. It is a study in materiality, where the rural past meets modern design.
Cardozo creates an atmosphere of ethereal decay. The treated walls resemble an ancient map or cloud formations, softening the light that floods in from the floor-to-ceiling windows.
The space feels timeless, suspending the guest in a state of calm, artistic contemplation between the interior art and the exterior landscape.
The bathroom offers a stark departure from the earthy bedroom, immersing the guest in a chaotic yet rhythmic environment of broken ceramic tiles.
In contrast, the bedroom walls feature delicate, deliberate carvings that catch the natural light, creating shifting shadows that mark the passage of time throughout the day.
Cardozo is a dialogue between the rustic and the refined. It is a study in materiality, where the rural past meets modern design.
